What We Do

Prosthetic Implants
Job Training and Scholarships
Basic Needs

Mine Relief provides comprehensive survivors assistance to the clients referred to us. The primary was we do this is by providing artificial limbs to landmine survivors who are in need. Our service also includes rehabilitation, which is essential for those who receive prosthesis, as they must learn to use their artificial limb. Maintenance and any repairs for the prosthesis provided is also guaranteed for each of our clients. We believe that this is the most effective method of helping our clients who have been severely injured because regaining the use of a limb gives them back their mobility which greatly increases their ability to lead successful lives.

We also work to better the lives of our clients by providing them with education and employment opportunities. Depending on the survivor’s age and level of disability we work to make them capable of providing for themselves and their families. Youth are eligible for scholarships and working age adults are given opportunities for apprenticeship programs, job training and assistance in the job search. For the elderly we are dedicated to improving their lives by providing food, shelter and assistance in applying for federal aid.
